Glen Quarrie

 

 

Glen Quarrie studied saxophone, clarinet and flute at Carnegie Mellon University, and later at Indiana University with Eugene Rousseau and David Baker. He is a former member of The Russ Morgan and Guy Lombardo Orchestras and has had extended service or tours with the Riverside Radio Network Orchestra, Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lou Christie, the Pittsburgh Symphony pops and Eddie Holman to name a few.

 

Glen taught saxophone and jazz studies at Carnegie Mellon University for 20 years prior to moving to the Milwaukee area in 2007. He now pursues musical theater pit orchestra work on flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboe and English horn. He also plays jazz at every opportunity. Glen considers himself to be incredibly good looking and never kids around.
